Hand-Dyed Shetland Wool Roving, Colorado-Grown, 4 oz.

Our hand-dyed Colorado-grown Shetland roving in 4 oz hanks, from our flock of heritage Shetland sheep. While there is a huge range in Shetland fleeces, from coarse to fine, we aim for softer fleeces with good handle and staple length - perfect for Fair Isle knitting or felting. We use organic methods, whenever possible, in producing our wool. We always use non-toxic dyes. We are participating providers with the Shave 'em to Save 'em program from the Livestock Conservancy.

We attempt to represent our colors as accurately as possible, but your monitor/screen's settings may alter the display. Variations in color may occur, as hanks are dyed by hand; we cannot guarantee perfectly matching colors between dye lots.
