Our hand-dyed Gradient sock yarn is 2-ply mill-spun, 75% Colorado-Grown heritage Tunis** wool & 25% nylon, in 3.5 oz skeins. Grown in Colorado and USA-spun, this is not your average yarn!

Our Gradient sock yarn is hand-dyed using a unique method to create a variegated gradient effect. Perfect for shawlettes. Copies of our shawlette patterns are included with each purchase.

• 3.5 oz (approx. 100g)
• Very approximately 350 yards
• Size 2 U.S. (3mm) needles
• 6.5 stitches/inch, 14-16 WPI
• 75% Colorado-grown wool, 25% nylon
• Handwash in lukewarm water and lay flat to dry

**Tunis is one of the oldest indigenous breeds in the United States, is relatively rare as recorded by the Livestock Conservancy, and was preferred by Thomas Jefferson over Merinos. Containing Leicester Longwool and Southdown genetics, this background gives Tunis fiber its soft and bouncy hand, qualities which it has lent to this sock yarn.
