Navajo Churro Wool Roving, Homegrown Natural Colors 4 oz.
$ 18.00
Homegrown Navajo Churro wool roving is perfect for spinning, weaving, felting, and locker hooking. Our Navajo Churro sheep (considered a rare and endangered breed) provide us with a wide assortment of colors and have a sweeping view of the La Plata and San Juan Mountains from their fields. We use organic methods, whenever possible, in producing our wool.

Specific color notes:
Charcoal - A warm black with light fibers running through it.
Brown - A slightly grayed brown. Several shades darker than our light brown.
This roving is wonderful, exactly what I wanted for a project I am working on.
Looks nicely prepared and ready to spin.
Fiber came well packed in a box with tissue. Looks nice and natural color is nice. I've been wanting to try this fiber for awhile.
The Navaho Churro wool I received is just wonderful. It is clean, beautifully processed,natural colored fiber, of excellent quality. I can't wait to begin spinning it. I'm excited to know such care has gone into preserving this breed of sheep and will do what I can to promote it to my fiber-y friends.
Part of an order already reviewed. Lovely fiber.
